I've lived in Danby, New York for a decade and I'm excited to announce my run for a seat on the Town Board.
After years working for a non-profit dedicated to supporting public servants, I am passionate about public service and local government. I’m eager to find ways to apply my creative problem-solving skills, collaborative attitude, and tireless persistence for the public good.
As a parent raising two young children here, I understand the needs and concerns of local families. As a former small business owner, I know the value of small businesses to our local economy and community. As a hiker and gardener, I’m deeply concerned about the stewardship of our natural resources and our readiness to adapt to the unfolding crisis of our changing climate.
As a lifelong Democrat and progressive, I believe that the government has an important role to play our daily lives and a responsibility to meet the highest standards of transparency and fiscal responsibility. As your representative on the Town Board, I will remain laser-focused on to best ways to use our collective tax dollars to strengthen our town and community, meet our basic needs and enhance our quality of life.
